TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has congratulated the Mehr News Agency for launching Russian language service.

Salehi, in his message, said that the launching of the Russian language service is a very positive step as the language is among the six top international languages and Russians themselves have an important status in the world.
The Mehr News Agency officially launched its Russian-language news service on Tuesday, bringing the agency’s foreign language services to seven.
