TEHRAN - The chief of Tehran Friday Prayer staff said next week’s Friday prayer ceremonies will be held on the campus of the University of Tehran.

Hojjatoleslam Yadollah Shirmardi stated that the choice follows the occasion of the Quds Day which Muslims around the world mark on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan every year, the Hamandishi website reported Friday.

Since the beginning of Ramadan this year, Tehran Friday prayers were held in the Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground.
