Iran’s Paykan defeated Pavlodar from Kazakhstan 3-1 (25 -13, 25-23, 26-28, 25-18) on Friday to finish third at the 2015 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship.

Seven-time champion Paykan, whose seven key players competed for second-placed Iran at the recent Asian Senior Men’s Championship, missed a berth at the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship in October.

The winner of Qatar’s Al Arabi and Chinese Taipei’s Taichung Bank in the final match will qualify for the competition at Belo Horizonte in Brazil from October 17 to November 1.
