TEHRAN – An Iranian delegation, headed by Supreme Leader’s top advisor Ali Akbar Velayati, have set off for Kabul to attend the funeral of former Afghan president Burhanuddin Rabbani, who was martyred inside his home in Kabul on Tuesday afternoon in a suicide bombing.   

An Iranian parliamentary delegation, headed by Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi, will also attend the funeral.
