Damash of Gilan football club appointed Mehdi Tartar as the new coach of its team on Saturday. 

Tartar joined Damash for the rest of the season for an undisclosed fee.

“I’ve reached an agreement with Damash after a session with the team’s General Manager Amir Abedini. I will do my best in the team,” Tartar said. 

Damash is 7th in Iran Professional Football standings table with 23 points.
