Kolakovic invites 20 players to Iran volleyball training camp

Igor Kolakovic, head coach of the Iran men’s national volleyball team, has initially called 20 players to the camp in preparation for four major competitions including the World League, the Grand Champions Cup and the Asian Championship.
players were 14 young ones, 11 of whom were selected to join the nine experienced players. The second group of the players rested in the first phase to make recovery from the league matches. These selected players will pursue their trainings for ten days and after that 18 players will had a chance to contest the World League. The young players are given a second chance to place into the composition of the World League.
The invited players are Saeid Marouf, Mohamad Taher Vadi, Farhad Salafzoon, Javad Hosseinabadi, Reza Ghara, Amir Ghafour, Farhad Nazari Afshar, Farhad Ghaemi, Mojtaba Mirzajanpour, Milad Ebadipour, Mohammad Javad Manavinejad, Mohammad Mousavi, Adel Gholami, Saman Faezi, Masoud Gholami, Mahdi Marandi, Mostafa Heidari, Pourya Fayazi, Ali Shafei, and Mohammad Fallah.
The technical staff of Iran comprised Amir Khosh Khabar (team manager), Payman Akbari, Dragan Kobiljski, and Saeid Rezaei (assistant coaches), Daniel Misic (trainer), Dr. Siamak Afroozi (physician), Hamid Ahmadinia (media director), Navid Moshajari (scout man), and Alireza Pishyare (massager).
In his speech to the players, Kolakovic said “It is my wish to win more medals with all of you in the upcoming competitions. Make a success out of what you have. I know the way to win medals. I did that before.”
