TEHRAN – The Supreme Court has confirmed the death verdict against Mohammad Salas, a dervish cult sympathizer who drove a bus into police ranks and killed three of them in Tehran in February, Tehran province’s Justice Department chief Gholam Hossein Esmaili announced on Tuesday.

The incident happened during an unrest in the Pasdaran neighborhood, where a group of Gonabadi dervishes held an unauthorized gathering near a police station and engaged in clashes with police.
