Iranian ambassador submits credentials to Ukrainian president

TEHRAN – Iran’s new ambassador to Kiev, Manouchehr Moradi, on Thursday submitted his letter of credentials to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

During the meeting, Moradi expounded on his plans for boosting the ties between Tehran and Kiev, the YJC reported.

Poroshenko, for his part, voiced his country’s readiness to expand ties with Iran and make use of the two countries’ potential in that regard.

The two sides also underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation in the international arena.
