Qoranic Competition of University Students, Clerics Held in Ramsar

TEHRAN A Qoranic competition of university students and clerics was held in Ramsar, Mazandaran Province, last week.
Some 460 selected university students and clerics from all over the country took part in the written and oral sections of the Qoranic competition.
The 7th Qoranic competition of university students and clerics opened with a message from the Chancellor of Islamic Azad University, Abdollah Jasbi.
The written section of the competition comprised topical interpretation of the holy Qoran, topical explanation of Nahj-ul-Balagheh, topical memorization of holy Qoran, translation of holy Qoran into English and some other subjects.
Moreover, the oral section of the competition dealt with different styles of recitation of the holy Qoran. Some 107 university students and clerics took part in this section of the competition.
