TEHRAN A journalist from a London-based daily said the country's police created the recent turmoil in the prisons of Turkey in order to create an excuse for suppressing political prisoners. Speaking to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Mostafa Kandmir added that the Turkish police raided the jails in order to send the leftist prisoners to solitary confinement.
