Iranian Films Competing at 19th Fajr Intl. Film Festival
* ****The Children of Oil****, directed by Ebrahim Forouzesh. The film features Azar Khosravi, Milad Rezaei, Milad Shadi, Nasrin Boustan, Hamideh Bakhtiari, and Alireza Lorestani. It has been produced by the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
The film is about a family in the city of Masjed Soleiman. The father is away for some reason, and other family members have to work hard in order to earn their livelihood.
* ****Heaven Is for You****, directed by Alireza Davoudnejad. The cast comprises Ali Vajed-Samiei, Mahtab Keramati, Ehteramossadr Habibian, Seyed Shoa'oddin Habibian, Mona Davoudnejad and Mohammadreza Davoudnejad.
A man tired of city life and its uproar leaves the city and goes to live in forests and mountains. Despite the problems he faces, he tries to live a simple life.
* ****Parti****, directed by Saman Moqaddam. The film is casting Hedieh Tehrani, Ali Mosaffa, Mahdi Khayyami, Soroush Goudarzi, Esmaeil Shangaleh, Saeid Bozorgi, Mohammad Qomi and Khosro Naji.
* ****Splinters of Peace****, directed by Ali Shah-Hatami. It features Abdolhamid Darchipouran, Ne'mat Soltani, Amir Iranian and Faramarz Mehrjoo. The film has been produced by Zeitoun Cultural-Cinematic Institute.
After the end of the Iraqi imposed war, some young boys try to find some remnants of the war. But something happens.
