British Industrial, Manufacturing Output in Doldrums

LONDON British industrial production stagnated in January while manufacturing output slumped, official figures showed Friday.
Industrial output in January was unchanged from December, leaving it up 1.1 percent on an annual basis, AFP quoted the Office for National Statistics as reporting.
Manufactured output fell 0.9 percent in January from December, resulting in an overall 1.5 percent increase on a 12-month basis, the ONS said.
