TEHRAN Inhabitants of the city of Qorveh in Kurdestan Province were surprised at the coldness of the spring season this year.

The unusual cold temperature has forced people to wear warm clothes so as not to catch the common cold. The coldness at this time of the year is deemed as to be strange phenomenon in the region.

The temperature in Qorveh registered 7 degrees centigrade the day before.

Also, during the 15th day of spring (officially started March 21), snowfalls blanketed the mountains of West Azarbaijan Province and caused inhabitants to wonder.

According to reports, snowfalls in the Kelashin and Rendoleh mountains caused the temperature in Oshnavieh to dip to an astonishingly low level.
