TEHRAN Twenty-four futsal teams will take part in the second Media Cup to start in Sports Complex on August 30. The competitions will be sponsored by Association of Iranian Journalists (AIJ) and in collaboration with the Sports Complex officials. The draw ceremony of the contests was held in the presence of organizing committee's members at the venue of AIJ on Tuesday. The 24 futsal teams were placed in four the following groups: Group 1: Qalam-e Varzesh, Press Cooperative, Iran-e Varzeshi, Aftab-e Yazd, Siassat-e Rouz * The sixth team of Group 1 will be announced later. Group 2: Sobh-e Varzesh, Hayat-e No, Tehran Times, IRNA, Varzesh-o-Andisheh, Abrar-e Eqtessadi Group 3: Emad, Fazilat Javanan, Iran News, Esteghlal Javan, Hambastegi, Seda-ye Edalat Group 4: Hamrahan-e Varzesh, Jahan-e Eqtessad, Kar-o-Kargar, IRIB News Channel, ISNA, Tamashagaran The first week matches are: Press Cooperative vs. Siassat-e Rouz at 8:00 a.m. Sobh-e Varzesh vs. Abrar-e Eqtessadi at 8:45 a.m. Hayat-e No vs. Varzesh-o-Andisheh at 9:30 a.m. Tehran Times vs. IRNA at 10:45 a.m. Aftab-e Yazd vs. Iran-e Varzeshi at 11:00 a.m.
