TEHRAN The 10th Handwoven Carpet Exposition is to be held here from August 23-30, announced the Public Relations Department of the Export Promotion Center of Iran (EPCI) here on Tuesday.

More than 410 production, commercial and artistic units have expressed their readiness to attend the expo.

The Second Carpet Weaving Festival will also be held on the sidelines of the exposition to make top carpet weavers familiar with latest methods.

Based on the report, about 400 major purchasers of Iranian carpet worldwide have been invited to take part in the exposition.
