Iran's Industrial Fair Opens in Jordan
Such industrial products as light and heavy vehicles and their spare parts, technical facilities, models of engineering services in UCH fields as electrical power and generation and distribution, water engineering, foodstuff machinery, and glassware will be on display for a week at Iran's exclusive industrial fair, at Amman's Permanent Fairs Ground.
The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by saudi Arabia's ambassador to Amman, some Jordanian officials, and Iran's Ambassador to Amman Nosratollah Tajik who presented a brief report on the organization of the fair to the audience.
Tajik said that 19 Iranian firms present their goods at the fair and the Iranian passenger cars presented there are expected to attract broad attention of the Jordanian visitors, who are their potential customers in near future.
Referring to the rapidly improving Iran-Jordan ties, particularly in commercial field, he added, the grand total of the two countries' commercial transactions exceeded $20 million during the current Iranian year (started March 23).
