TEHRAN -- General Manager of Hormozgan Foreign Nationals and Refugees affairs Burea, Yousef Farzin, said on Tuesday that over 376 Afghan refugees returned home from Hormozgan, when Iran started a plan in cooperation with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) for voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees.

He said the refugees, grouped in 81, had returned to Afghanistan from the Dogharoun and Milak border checkpoints.

He said the progress of Afghan repatriation had been positive, and said such progress could be further boosted given the security currently prevailing in Afghanistan.
