Shangoul-o-Mangoul Wins First Prize at Golden Palmetto Festival

TEHRAN -- The short animation film Shangoul-o-Mangoul directed by Farkhondeh Torabi and Morteza Ahadi and produced by the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCYA) won first prize in the short film section of the Golden Palmetto Festival in the United States.
According to the CIDCYA Public Relations Office, screenplay writers and radio program producers from all around the world participated in the festival that was held in Florida in late July.
Shangoul-o-Mangoul has been screened at over 40 Iranian and international festivals and has won numerous prizes.
The Golden Palmetto Festival has sections on feature and short films, sports, scientific, and children's films, and TV commercials.
