Quake Jolts North of Turkmen Port in Turkmenistan

SARI -- An earthquake measuring 3.6 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale, hit north of the Turkmen port in Turkmenistan, at 10:15 local time (545 GMT) on Saturday.
The Seismological Base of Mazandaran Province, affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, registered the epicenter of the quake at 70km north of Turkmen port in Makhdoom Qoli region in Turkmenistan, Iran's northeastern neighbor.
