TEHRAN -- On the occasion of Young Adults' Day (October 30), martyrdom anniversary of Hossein Fahmideh, a commemoration ceremony entitled "Little Soldier, Great Leader" is to be held in Tehran.

The ceremony aims to familiarize young generations with the culture of jihad and martyrdom as well as reviving and respecting memories and names of the martyrs -- especially the student martyrs.

Sponsored by Students' Islamic Association of Tehran Province (IATP), over 300 students accompanied by Fahmideh's father will attend the ceremony.

An exhibition of books and photographs will also be held on the side section.

Martyr Fahmideh was a 13-year-old Basiji volunteer who carried a grenade with him under an Iraqi tank and exploded it underneath during Iran-Iraq war.
