IPO Felicitates Muslims on Advent of Eid-ul-Fitr
The IPO called Eid-ul-Fitr the feast to enjoy heavenly blessings and a day of celebration for the Islamic ummah.
"Now that Ramazan, the month when men are at God's feast and the month of heavenly forgiveness is over, Muslims are exhilarated that they have been able to purify their souls and proceed toward high degrees of decency and piety," the statement read.
The organization described the massive participation of the public in religious rituals during the holy month as an "invaluable success", adding that the Muslim people of Tehran would be gathering together in the city's grand Musalla to show their solidarity and unity in their struggles to defend Islamic principles and also to fight the global arrogance in the cultural and political spheres.
