Iran's largest solar power plant inaugurated to supply electricity to Shamsabad industrial town

TEHRAN- Iran's largest solar power plant was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, the second day of Government Week, with President Masoud Pezeshkian in attendance. The facility is designed to supply part of the electricity demand of Shamsabad Industrial Town, the country's largest industrial zone, located southeast of Tehran.

Renewable power plants being developed in line with environmental requirements

TEHRAN- The Deputy of Technical and Engineering of Iran’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA) wrote in a note: The development of renewable power plants can lead to favorable results only when carried out based on precise technical standards, clear environmental requirements, and continuous monitoring.

Renewable energy expansion accelerates; several solar, wind farms to join grid by July 

TEHRAN- The technical and engineering deputy of SATBA (Iran's Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization) on Saturday announced progress in the construction of several solar and wind power plants across the country, stating that some of these projects will come online by July.
