Tehran-Minsk Direct Air Link Launched

MOSCOW -- A direct Tehran-Minsk air link has been formally launched at Minsk International Airport, IRNA reported.

Talking at the opening ceremony for the occasion, Iranian Ambassador to Belarus Mohammad Mousa Hashemi Golpaygani said that the new Tehran-Minsk air link is "important" in that it would facilitate contacts between the two countries.

The first flight via the route took off Saturday.
