TEHRAN -- President Mohammad Khatami here on Monday received Iran's ambassador to Dhaka, Mohammad Beheshti on matters of international concern.

In the meeting, the president stressed bolstering of ties with Asian states, including Bangladesh, in economic and cultural fields as well as cooperation in international organizations, IRNA reported.

On his part, Beheshti presented the Chief Executive with a report on the latest developments on bilateral relations between Iran and Bangladesh in various fields.
