World’s Largest Aromatic Plant Project to Be Built in Southern Iran

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – The construction process of the world’s largest aromatic plant project is nearly finished in Asaluye, southern Iran.
Covering some 69 hectares of land, the project is estimated to have a capacity of 1.3 million tons of various kinds of aromatic products. Borzuye Petrochemicals, an NPC (National Petrochemicals Company) subsidiary, has been implementing the project.
It comprises the production process of Paraxylene, Benzene, and other major aromatic materials.
The complete project will come on stream by 2005.
