TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – "Spreading Basiji (volunteer) thought in the Islamic communities will result in consecutive failures of the global arrogance, especially the United States," political analyst Mohammad Hasan Qadiri Abyanieh told the Mehr News Agency.

Qadiri Abyanieh said, "This is the time now to spread Basij culture all over the Islamic communities since the U.S. has targeted all Islamic countries, and if we inspire Muslims of other countries to have Iranian Basij spirit, we will then witness the U.S. defeat.

"The U.S. has designed evil plans for the Middle East, and in such a situation promoting the Basij and boosting the number of Basijis can strengthen defensive capabilities and dissuade the enemy from invading the country. "The reason our country has not been attacked by the U.S. yet is the U.S. fear of the public Basij force."

Qadiri Abyanieh went on to say that the enemies consider the Basij even more dangerous than the possibility that Iran could gain access to nuclear weapons, and therefore the foreign media, especially those affiliated to the U.S. and Zionism, are disseminating propaganda meant to weaken the Basij. He added, "The enemies, together with foreign agents inside the country, intend to malign the Basij, which is an honor for the Iranians. The Basij is the manifestation of public resistance in defending Islam, the Islamic system, and Iran’s territorial integrity against foreign aggression. The Basij is the source of public hope and security against the plots of foreign enemies and their agents inside the country." In conclusion he said, "The Basij can encourage the public to massively participate in social affairs, especially in the upcoming election. The Basijis can also be active in the election as ordinary individuals who participate in the election themselves and also play their role by identifying the faithful candidates."
