Iran issue can be resolved through diplomacy: EU

TEHRAN – Europe does not seek to isolate Iran rather it is trying to promote its relations with the Islamic Republic, particularly in the economic sector, the EU external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner has told the Austrian Standard newspaper, the Mehr News Agency reported on Monday.
If Iran does make a specific maneuver over its uranium enrichment activities, its nuclear dossier will not face a complicated problem, she said, referring to the Monday meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over Iran’s nuclear program.
She asserted that it is still possible for Iran’s nuclear standoff to be resolved through diplomatic ways.
Germany, France, and Britain along with Russia are trying to find a peaceful solution to Iran’s nuclear impasse, she noted.
