Twenty-five Iranian professors and students from the University of Tehran are attending the event, which has film, music, and visual arts sections, according to the university’s General Office of Cultural and Extraordinary Activities.
“A group of student musicians will perform with various Iranian traditional musical instruments in the music section,” the director of the General Office of Cultural and Extraordinary Activities of the University of Tehran said.
“Several plays based on Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh will also be staged,” Mohammad Mashari added.
The event also features photo, painting, and calligraphy exhibitions and lectures on philosophy, mysticism, and Persian literature.
