TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Iran will compete at the World Under-17 Boxing Championships in Turkey, reported the federation here Friday.

Thirty boxers, who started training last week, will clash in the qualifiers at Shahid Shirudi Sports Complex.

According to the federation, the qualifying bouts will kick off today.

The world event will begin on August 3.

Manager Gholamreza Karimi and coaches Ebrahim Ebadi and Asghar Sharafi are to accompany the team.
