TEHRAN – Pop singer Sina Sarlak is to give a concert in Amsterdam in August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), ISNA reported on Friday.

Sarlak said that the Isfahan band Safa is to accompany him in the concert, which will feature several pieces praising Imam Ali (AS).

He added that he and his backup band are also scheduled to perform at the Rotterdam Museum and in Germany, Spain, and France. * Iranian child painters win in Bitola

TEHRAN – Four Iranian children were recently honored at the 24th Bitola Painting Competition of the Republic of Macedonia.

Abolfazl Nozari, Mahmonir Havaii, Mohaddaseh Makki, and Marieh Aq, who are members of Iran’s Institute for the Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), received honorary diplomas.

IIDCYA also honored the winners.
