TEHRAN -- Danish orientalist Arthur Emanuel Christensen’s travelogue is being printed by Tahuri Publications in Iran.

The book contains information on Iranians’ traditions, custom, and lifestyle compiled by Christensen during his visit to Iran in the 1930s to conduct a study on Semnani dialect.

Semnani dialect is one of the specific dialects in the Central Plateau of Iran, drawing scores of orientalists’ attention.

The travelogue, which has been kept at the Royal Library of Denmark, highlights the author’s visit to Iranian cities of Tehran, Anzali, Qazvin, Semnan, and Rasht in the early years of the World War II.

The scholar lived between 1875 and 1945.
