Industrial parks in want of fund: Iran acting minister

TEHRAN – The Industries and Mines Ministry has offered a bill to the cabinet to increase the budget for the development of industrial parks, the acting minister said here Monday.

Industrial development is subject to industrial parks and small-size industries development, added Ali-Akbar Mehrabian, pointing to 750 enacted parks.
“Of 750 parks, 250 are under construction.
“The ministry has received 43 million dollars, but it does not meet the financial need.”
Therefore, he said, a bill was submitted to the government, demanding for further budget.
The fund could be provided through banking facilities and subsidies, he added
