Araqchi appointed Iran’s ambassador to Tokyo

TEHRAN – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi has been appointed as Iran’s new ambassador to Japan, the Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday.

Araqchi has been nominated for the post by Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki and endorsed by the president
