TEHRAN -- The Saba Art and Cultural Institute is to host an exhibit of a collection of paintings and photos of architecture designed by Mir Hossein Musavi.

Mir Hossein Musavi is a graduate of architecture from Shahid Beheshti University and was Iran’s prime minister from 1981 to 1989.
The event has been organized by Kamran Adl and Morteza Gudarzi, the Persian service of ISNA reported.
Adl has taken photos of all the buildings that Musavi has designed, constructed or renovated to date. The collection includes photos of the designs of the Isfahan Water and Waste Water Organization’s building and the 7th of Tir Martyrs’ cemetery. There are also photos depicting the renovation processes carried out on the Palestine Contemporary Museum of Art and the Saba Institute buildings.
Kamran Adl, himself a graduate of architecture, emphasizing the photogenic qualities of the buildings designed by Musavi, added, “His architecture seems to melt into its environment; this reflects Musavi’s own mystical spirit.”
“In the past forty years that I have been photographing buildings, I have not come across such architecture, that even incorporates the sun’s rays into its designs,” he concluded.
Musavi’s paintings have been displayed previously in several exhibits and biennials.
Over one hundred photos and almost 50 paintings will be on display from December 17 until January 7 at the venue located on Mozaffar St., Taleqani Ave, near Felestin Square
