BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) -- Belgian electricity grid operator Elia SA said the government's Commission for Electricity and Gas Regulation (CREG) has approved the proposed electricity transmission tariffs submitted by Elia for the period from 2008 to 2011.
It added that the agreement will offer greater visibility and stability, both for industrial users and for electricity suppliers who pass these tariffs on in their invoices to end-customers.Transmission tariffs account for 4 pct of the electricity bill for residential consumers and 14 pct for major industrial consumers.
