TEHRAN –- Seyyed Reza Mirkarimi’s “So Simple” will be screened in Iran’s cinemas during the Noruz (Iranian New Year) holidays from March 21 until April 1.

This woman-centered production won Best Film Crystal Simorgh in the Iranian Films Section of the 26th Fajr International Film Festival.
The producer of the film, Art Bureau, held a meeting with its director Seyed Reza Mirkarimi, before the Fajr International Film Festival, during which it was decided that “So Simple” would be screened to coincide with the Iranian New Year.
The film is about a woman called Tahereh, who is trying to provide a calm atmosphere for her husband Amir, who is to participate in an international architecture competition.
Hengameh Qaziani, who plays Tahereh, received Best Actress Award and the film’s screenwriters Mirkarimi and Shadmehr Rastin shared the Best Screenplay Award.
