TEHRAN – Saipa’s beach volleyball team defeated Indonesia 2-0 in the final of the 9th Asian-Oceania Beach Volleyball Championship in Songkhla, Thailand. 

Iran won over the defending champion in two sets, 21-17 and 24-22. In another game, New Zealand came in third place after defeating India 2-0. 
Altogether 25 beach volleyball teams from 15 countries took part in the competitions.
Meanwhile, Saipa ranked third in the 6th Asian Beach Volleyball Championship, held in the Thailand last week.
