'Israeli holocaust of Arabs will fail'

""If the Germans could not succeed in eliminating the Jewish people in the Holocaust, then neither will the campaign that the Israelis are now perpetrating against millions of Palestinians and billions of Arabs and Muslims succeed,"" said Sheikh Kamal Khatib, deputy head of the radical northern faction of the fundamentalist Islamic Movement.
A Palestinian boy, wearing traditional Arabic dress, holds a large imitation key symbolizing the issue of Palestinian refugees during a demonstration to commemorate the Nakba, or catastrophe.Today, as we mark 60 years since the Nakba, they are threatening us with a holocaust in Gaza, in Lebanon and in all of our lands,"" he said, speaking at a rally marking 60 years since the Nakba, or 'catastrophe' of the Palestinian people.
""In the beginning, in 1948, we were 450,000 Palestinians and today we are but 300,000 thorns in their sides, and rocks on their chests. We vow to be Palestinian Arabs - Muslims and Christians,"" he said.
""We are here to stay, like the oil of the Galilee, the grapes of the Galilee, and the Jaffa orange,"" he continued, directing his words towards Israel.
""You speak of expulsion and transfer, you can murder and imprison us - there will not be a second Nakba,"" said Khatib.
The sheikh went on to predict that ""there will not be tents, there will not be refugees. This is our decision - this land is our land whether we live on it with honor or we die on it as martyrs.""
