Bombay club to unveil Indian Muslim’s travelog on Mashhad

TEHRAN -- A book written by an Indian Muslim about his journey to the holy city of Mashhad will be introduced in a ceremony commemorating the birth of Imam Reza (AS) at the Bombay Muslim Club in India.
The book contains the memoirs by Haj Moheb Naser who visited the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) 70 years ago. The ceremony will be held on November 10, on the birthday of Imam Reza (AS).
Haddad-Adel to head Academy of Persian Language and Literature
TEHRAN -- Former Majlis speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel was appointed to be the new director of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature.
In a directive signed by President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, Haddad-Adel is to direct the academy for four years.
Hassan Habibi was the former head of the academy. He is currently in a hospital in Tehran suffering from diabetes and heart disease..
