Iran, Algeria sign industrial MOU

TEHRAN – The Iranian Industries and Mines Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and the Algerian Minister of Industry and Promotion of Investments Abdelhamid Temmar here on Monday inked a memorandum of understanding to expand industrial relations.

In the meeting of Iran-Algeria joint mines and industries committee, they agreed to cooperate in joint investments in the pharmaceutical industry and to establish joint companies in car manufacturing and IT, etc, IRIB news reported.
The second committee meeting is agreed to be held next year in Algeria.
Temmar told IRNA on Sunday night that Iran is a developed country in industry due to its effective use of modern technology.
He made the remarks while visiting the ceramics manufacturing factory of Apadana Ceramic in Qazvin province.
Temmar said that his country is willing to boost industrial relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He hoped that the two sides will make efforts to pave the way for further mutual ties.
He added that the two countries would sign further agreements on industrial cooperation in the near future
