Country’s time should not be spent on factional disputes: Larijani

TEHRAN – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday stated that the country’s time should not be wasted on factional and political disputes but rather on construction and progress.
He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of prayers leaders in Qom.“We have come to maturity and we should not look back since there are many challenges lying ahead,” Larijani said, adding the country should focus on these challenges.
He also said all competent managers should be involved and to facilitate national progress a categorization of managers into different factional groups should be avoided.
Now three decades after the Islamic Revolution, all resources should be directed at resolving the country’s economic problems and reducing the rate of unemployment, he noted.
And this will not come true by sporadic efforts, he added.
Thus it is a shame to consume the valuable time of the country on political and factional games which are a “trap laid by others”, Majlis speaker said.
