Fajr Visual Arts Festival works to be displayed in Italy

TEHRAN -- Selected artwork from the first Fajr International Visual Arts Festival will go on display at the museum of the Italian city of Bari from March 15.
A total of 50 works of art will go on display for two weeks at the museum. The event is cosponsored by Italian art expert Mario Rubino and Iran’s cultural attaché office in Italy.
Foreign Persian speaking poets to attend Iranian festival
TEHRAN -- Some 13 poets who compose in Persian will attend the 3rd Fajr International Poetry Festival.
The poets, from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt, will attend the closing ceremony of the festival on February 30 at the Vahdat Hall.
The annual festival is usually held in January, but since January 2008 coincides with the mourning month of Muharram, the gala has been moved forward to March.
Iranian scholar to discuss literary translation in Casablanca
TEHRAN -- Iranian scholar Musa Bidaj will give lectures on literary translation in Casablanca.
He will give the lectures on the occasion of opening of Morocco International Book Fair which was opened on February 12.
Tunisia to host congress on Persian literature
TEHRAN -- Tunisia will host the International Contemporary Persian Literature Congress on February 25.
The congress will be held by Iran’s embassy in Tunisia and the Tunisian Academy for Sciences, Letters and Arts (Bait ul-Hikmah).
Iranian authors Kavus Hassanli, Nasrollah Emami and Esmaeil Azar will attend the congress..
