Shahnaz ensemble announce European concert tour dates

TEHRAN -- The Shahnaz ensemble led by tar player Majid Derakhshani and singer Mohammadreza Shajarian have given the exact dates of performances for their autumn European concert tour.
Their first performance will be in Frankfurt on September 4 and the next day in Cologne. Hanover will host the band on September 7.
They will then give a concert on September 12 in Gothenburg before moving on to Stockholm for a performance the following day.
Berlin will be their destination on September 15. They will also give performances in Zurich (Sep. 18), Stuttgart (Sep. 20), Paris (Sep.21) and Amsterdam (Sep.6).
Safavid era stories republished
TEHRAN -- The corrected version of “Jame’ al-Hekayat”, a collection written in the Persian Safavid era (1501–1736), has been published recently in Iran.
The remedial work was undertaken by Mohammad Jafari Qanavati and contains stories written by unknown writers. Some of the stories have been derived from official texts and others narrated by the people of that era.
The book is published by Maziar Publications in 1300 pages..
