A British man is among those being hunted over the murder of a senior Hamas official in Dubai, it has emerged.

The man, in his 60s, is the latest in a list of suspects accused of smothering Mahmoud al-Mabhouh to death in his hotel room.
While many of the suspects traveled under false passports, sparking international condemnation, it is thought the Briton used his own name.
He is said to be a Jewish Palestinian whose family migrated to the UK after the Second World War.
Although no official statement has been made, the Independent on Sunday claims to have seen his passport, which it says was valid from October 24, 2007.
Dubai police are thought to have given their British counterparts a video showing the man parking a hire car near the hotel where the Hamas chief was murdered.
They have also informed Interpol of the man's passport details. He is thought to be hiding in Western Europe, according to the newspaper.
Neither the Foreign Office or the Serious Organized Crime Agency, who are involved in the Dubai investigation, would comment on the story.
Mr. al-Mabhouh, who was said to be a key figure in smuggling weapons into the Gaza Strip, was killed in January by suspected members of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
Governments were outraged when it emerged the assassins, who posed as tourists, had used British, Irish, Australian and German passports to gain entry to the UAE and commit the crime.
A total of 32 suspects have now been identified by Dubai police in connection with the murder.
