Transit of goods via Iran up 63.7%

TEHRAN -- Some 2.459 million tons of goods have been transited via Iran in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2010).

The amount shows a 63.7 percent increase in comparison to the previous year’s figure of 1.502 million tons, the Mehr News Agency reported.
It is predicted that the volume would reach 10 million tons by the end of the year
