3 Iranian prisoners in Qatar released

TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) – Three Iranian prisoners who had received life sentences for possession of drugs and drug trafficking were released on Friday night and left Doha for Tehran.

These Iranians, who had served part of their imprisonment terms, were released following diplomatic efforts by the Foreign Ministry and the Iranian embassy in Qatar, the Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday.
