TEHRNA – Iran’s Parliament will start reviewing a decision by the UAE to build more artificial islands in the Persian Gulf, MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi has said.

Boroujerdi said the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee examined the issue in the past as the plan has problems in terms of legal matters.
But for further study, the parliament will discuss the matter in the next Iranian calendar year, the parliamentary committee chairman added.
He also said that the legal department of the Foreign Ministry is responsible in this regard.
Boroujerdi said that the United Arab Emirates seeks to expand its geographical boundaries and it wants to create lands as it is importing soils from other countries
