Iran to meet Thailand at Asian U23 Women’s Volleyball Championship quarters

Iran will face Thailand in the quarter-final round of the 2015 Asian U23 Women’s Volleyball Championship.
The match is scheduled to take place on Thursday.Japan defeated Iran in three sets (25-13, 25-7, 25-15) at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig, the Philippines.
“I am not satisfied with the way we played against Japan. If we want to get result we must change the conditions,” Iran’s technical advisor Abbas Barghi said in the post match news conference.
Iran opened the campaign with two victories against the Philippines and Kazakhstan respectively in Pool A but lost to Chinese Taipei and Japan.
It’s the inaugural edition of the tournament and serves as the Asian qualifiers for the 2015 FIVB Women's U-23 Volleyball World Championship which will be held in Ankara, Turkey with the top two teams qualifying for the world championship.
