TEHRAN -- Iranian photographer Mohammad-Ali Tirandaz has created a collection entitled “The Eternal Geometry”, which he says can help the human spirit overcome its egoism.
He is currently displaying the collection at Tehran’s Milad Tower in an exhibition, which will run until May 14.“Since all forms, lines and colors of visual arts undoubtedly exist in nature’s domain, the eternal geometry should be considered as an important source for any design,” he wrote in a brochure for the exhibit.
In his collection, Tirandaz highlights the texture, form, rhythm, color and light in nature.
“This collection… is a revision of the generalities and details of the body of nature,” he said.
“The collection is trying to help the human spirit triumph over its narcissism and egoism in its path toward transcendence. It aims mainly to introduce the human being as a revelatory creature and efficient imitator as opposed to an ingenious creator, since creation in the realm of existence belongs exclusively to the Divine Essence,” he stated.
