Expert advises Saudi FM not try Iranians’ patience

TEHRAN – An expert at the Iranian Foreign Ministry has recommended the Saudi foreign minister pick up his words more cautiously and not test Iranians’ patience, ISNA reported.

To the expert who refused to be named, Adel al-Jubeir’s remarks are too undignified and irrelevant to elicit a formal response from the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The fledgling Al-Jubeir had said on Monday Iran was “occupying Arab lands” in Syria.

The Iranian expert noted that Al-Jubeir has spent most of his life in the United States and forgotten he is representing a country which has waged a “barbaric war” against the neighboring Muslim country of Yemen since seven months ago with no hither-to tangible gains.

“The Saudi authorities would be much better off if they advise the nervous, inexperienced foreign minister to make wise remarks and avoid testing the patience of the great nation of Iran before he causes troubles for them,” the expert noted.
